Paige Bio

5’8"
Norwich, England
Paige-Turner; Ram-Paige; PTO (Paige Tapout)
Divas Champion; NXT Women's Champion
Paige is a raven-haired Diva who preaches a simple message: She wants to fight. She gained prominence inside the NXT Arena as the first NXT Women's Champion.
A driven competitor, she first began battling when she was 13, following her family of English wrestlers and has never looked back.

On the April 7 edition of Raw, Paige stunned the WWE Universe by challenging – and ultimately defeating – AJ Lee to become the new Divas Champion! In doing so, not only did she become the youngest woman to ever win the butterfly-emblazoned title, but she is also the first to capture it in her Raw debut. She also makes history as the first Diva to hold both the NXT Women's Championship and Divas Championship.

On the April 24 edition of WWE NXT, NXT General Manager JBL stripped Paige of the NXT Women's Title and announced that there would be an NXT Divas Tournament for the NXT Women's Championship.
Overall, Paige is proud of her groundbreaking ways and has built her reputation on the back of a mean streak that only a villain like NXT commentator William Regal could appreciate, saying, “She will quite happily kick your head in, so why antagonize her?”

At Extreme Rules 2014, Paige faced her first true test as Divas Champion, defending the title against the dangerous Tamina. The Diva of Tomorrow was up to the challenge, successfully retaining her championship after making Tamina submit to the Scorpion Crosslock.

Paige continued her historic title run by retaining against both Alicia Fox and Naomi on pay-per-view. However, Paige lost the championship when she was stunned by the returning AJ Lee on the June 30, 2014, episode of Raw. The loss turned Paige from a spunky fan favorite into a depraved villain, but the change in personality paid off as she beat her so-called “frenemy” to reclaim the title at SummerSlam 2014. The game of hot potato continued when AJ regained the title yet again at Night of Champions in a Triple Threat Match that also included Nikki Bella. At Hell in a Cell, with new ally Alicia Fox in tow, Paige was unable to regain the title, and slapped Alicia squarely on the jaw in a post-match fit of frustration.

At Survivor Series 2014, Paige ended up on the losing side of a Divas Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match.

At Royal Rumble 2015, Paige teamed up with "Total Divas" co-star Natalya against The Bella Twins but the newfound alliance was unsuccessful against Divas Champion Nikki and her sister Brie. Paige had the Divas Championship in her grasp at WWE Money in the Bank 2015 when she thought she pinned reigning titleholder Nikki Bella, but fell victim to Twin Magic for the second time in two weeks. After Brie Bella revealed her identity, Nikki capitalized with a Rack Attack for the victory.
Recently Paige & Becky Lynch accompanied Charlotte in the Divas revolution Triple Threat Match at WWE Battleground.

With Paige on the hunt, WWE's Divas division may never be the same.

Roman Reigns Bio

6'3"
265 lbs.
Pensacola, Fla.
Spear; Superman Punch
WWE Tag Team Champion; 2014 Slammy Award winner for Superstar of the Year; 2015 Royal Rumble winner

A star defensive tackle at Georgia Tech, Roman Reigns wrecked offensive guards for both the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars before becoming a WWE Superstar. The hulking powerhouse brought his smash-mouth gridiron style to WWE’s developmental system, NXT, where he left a long line of tough opponents in crumpled heaps. But it was at the 2012 Survivor Series that Reigns made his greatest impact.

In the heat of a Triple Threat Match between WWE Champion CM Punk, John Cena and Ryback, Reigns hit the ring alongside fellow WWE NXT competitors Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins and unleashed a merciless attack on the mighty Ryback. Tearing at the beast like a pack of hungry jackals, the young competitors ruined Ryback’s opportunity to win the WWE Title and drove him through a ringside table.

Rumors that the group was working in collusion with The Straight Edge Superstar quickly spread, but those ties were strongly denied when Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose sat down with Michael Cole for an interview. Branding themselves “The Shield,” the band of upstarts in black tactical gear claimed that they weren’t in WWE to aid Punk, but to halt injustice. From then on, the group targeted anyone and everyone they saw as an example of said injustice, with Reigns slowly emerging as the trio’s juggernaut. At Extreme Rules 2013, Rollins & Reigns bested Team Hell No to win the WWE Tag Team Titles, later targeting Daniel Bryan on multiple occasions on the orders of WWE COO Triple H and his corporate Authority.

Reigns didn’t even suffer his first pinfall until nearly a year after The Shield debuted when he was eliminated by The Usos in the first-ever 11-on-3 Handicap Elimination Tag Team Match that pitted The Hounds against Bryan and his locker-room supporters. As tensions began to rise between The Shield and The Authority in 2014, The Authority was revealed to view The Shield as “expendable” and The Hounds turned on their handlers, causing Triple H to re-form Evolution in retaliation. When that plan failed, he recruited Rollins to his own ranks, causing The Shield to implode.
Following the breakup of The Shield, Reigns began an explosive pursuit of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and, eventually, he seemed to have the prize within his grasp when he overcome 29 other Superstars in the 2015 Royal Rumble Match. With The Rock stepping through the ropes to raise his hand in victory, the powerful Superstar was headed to WrestleMania.

However, some among the WWE Universe felt Daniel Bryan was more deserving of the match. So, at WWE Fastlane, Reigns and Bryan battled to decide who would face Lesnar on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Bryan pushed Reigns to the limit and pulled out all the stops. However, a last-second Spear allowed Reigns to secure the victory and retain his place in the main event at WrestleMania.
At WrestleMania 31, Reigns challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a brutal match. Toward the end of the match, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins made an appearance, cashing in his contract and making the main event a Triple Threat Match. After getting hit with a vicious Curb Stomp, Reigns was pinned by Rollins, making Rollins the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. A Triple Threat Match against Randy Orton and Ryback gave Reigns an opportunity at becoming No. 1 contender, but Big Show knocked him out in the heat of the match.

The Big Dog would get payback, however, overcoming The World's Largest Athlete in a Last Man Standing Match at Extreme Rules. Then, Reigns competed in a brutal Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WWE Payback, taking on Rollins, Ambrose and The Viper. Though he was unsuccessful in that effort, Reigns had another opportunity to earn a chance for the championship at WWE Money in the Bank 2015. He looked to have the match won before Bray Wyatt made an unexpected appearance, knocking him off the ladder and hitting Sister Abigail to dash The Big Dog's chances. Over the next week, Wyatt would make thinly veiled threats against Reigns' daughter in an attempt to get inside The Big Dog's head. At WWE Battleground, Reigns suffered another questionable defeat when a hooded Luke Harper aided Wyatt in victory.
Most recently at SummerSlam, the formitable combination of Dean Amborse & Roman Reigns overcame Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper. When The Wyatts revealed their newest family member, Braun Strowman, a six-man bout was set for Night of Champions, with Reigns & Ambrose selecting a mystery partner to even the odds. That partner was later revealed to be Chris Jericho, whose own impetuousness cost his team the match.

At WWE Hell in a Cell, Reigns battled Wyatt inside the demonic Hell in a Cell. The Wyatt Family and Dean Ambrose were barred from interfering and the bitter rivalry between Reigns and Wyatt was finally settled when Reigns emerged victorious.

John Cena Bio

No comments :
6'1"
251 lbs.
West Newbury, Mass.
Attitude Adjustment; STF
WWE World Heavyweight Champion; United States Champion; World Tag Team Champion; WWE Tag Team Champion; two-time Royal Rumble Match winner; 2012 Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner.
He’s a 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, five-time U.S. Champion and record-setting Make-A-Wish granter. He’s won the Royal Rumble Match twice. He’s competed in 12 straight WrestleManias and counting, and — more than a decade into his tenure — he hasn’t slowed down a step. If you really can’t see John Cena at this point, chances are you simply aren’t looking.
Was there any doubt Cena would become the living legend he is today?
You practically knew you were glimpsing the future “Face That Runs the Place” when a muscular Massachusetts kid threw down with Kurt Angle for a chance to become a true WWE Superstar. Sure enough, a little ruthless aggression went a long way. After gaining the respect of his peers by stepping to The Olympic Hero, Cena went supernova as the fire-spitting Doctor of Thuganomics, eventually reaching the peak by upending JBL for his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 21.

Far from being a one-hit wonder, however, Cena set up shop at the mountaintop and refused to decamp, instituting an open-challenge policy to anyone who thought they could knock him off: You want some, come get some. And slowly but surely, Cena — preaching an ethos of “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect” — not only amassed a battalion of followers he dubbed the “Cenation,” but also accumulated enough hardware to fill a Home Depot. He didn’t cut corners to get it done, either. Cena’s resume of defeated foes comprises both future WWE Hall of Famers like The Rock, Randy Orton, Batista, Brock Lesnar and Triple H and some of WWE’s newest stars in Seth Rollins, Rusev, Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt.

All of this isn’t to say that Cena’s just a ball cap–wearing brawler who talks with his fists. The Cenation leader has thrown himself into charity work with the same passion as his in-ring craft. With more than 500 Make-A-Wish visits, he’s granted more requests than any other athlete in the organization’s history, where his message of “Never Give Up” carries a new, profound meaning. He’s even dipped his toe into Hollywood, starring in action thrillers like “The Marine” and “12 Rounds” while showing his comedic chops in the Amy Schumer hit “Trainwreck.” And yet, he still finds time to adjust attitudes and knuckle-shuffle fools into defeat on the regular. Sure, a few detractors might say he sucks, but for John Cena, rising above hate is just part of the job description, and he’s still making camp on the mountaintop waiting for someone to take a swing.

After turning back the challenge of numerous high-profile Superstars in previous weeks, John Cena was defeated by the returning Alberto Del Rio during his U.S. Open Challenge at WWE Hell in a Cell 2015.

WWE Raw live results, Oct. 26, 2015: Reigns sets his sights on Rollins and The Wyatt Family claims their second soul

No comments :
SAN DIEGO — With hell firmly in his rearview, Roman Reigns is now one step closer to the promised land. Reigns blasted by Kofi Kingston to earn his spot in a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the No. 1 contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Big Dog opened Raw with a deafening statement to anyone who thought he’d be unable to recapture the lightning that catapulted him to the main event of WrestleMania 31.

Watch: Roman defies The Authority! | Reigns powers past Kofi in Raw thriller
Due to the stipulations of the evening — each potential Fatal 4-Way entrant had to have won at Hell in a Cell — Reigns faced stiff competition from The New Day member, who rode a diversion from Big E to a near-insurmountable lead in the late goings. A gritty comeback from Reigns led Kingston to go wild with Trouble in Paradise, but Reigns ducked the boot and Speared his way to the main event. Do you still believe?

'WWE Breaking Ground' Season 1, Episode 1 Recap: Onward and upward

No comments :
WrestleMania may be the greatest spectacle in all of sports-entertainment, but the road to Superstardom is anything but glamorous. It is rife with struggle and sacrifice, as the WWE Universe saw on the premiere episode of WWE Network’s gripping new docu-series, WWE Breaking Ground. There, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla., dozens of world-class athletes from all walks of life compete to break through to NXT and — perhaps, eventually — the WWE roster.

Watch exclusive Breaking Ground Highlights | Full NXT coverage
One such blue-chip hopeful is Josh Bredl, the winner of the 2015 WWE Tough Enough competition, who arrives at the Performance Center to ink his developmental contract.
Though the journey has just begun for Bredl, another prospect, Tino “Sabby” Sabbatelli, finds himself at a standstill. The former NFL safety was invited to join the Performance Center after attending a tryout. However, after suffering a concussion at an NXT Live Event weeks earlier, Sabby sits sidelined at home, sweating his looming exertion test. With the athletes’ physical wellbeing top of mind for WWE officials, Sabby must clear WWE’s sports-concussion protocol to avoid derailing his journey any further.
Another former pro footballer, Baron Corbin, battles headwinds of a different kind. As an NXT main event bout later in the week fast approaches, Corbin — a determined 6-foot-8 biker who earned a reputation as a ruffian in the NFL — shows signs of frustration over not moving up the developmental ranks faster.
Some prospects are much earlier on in the system. Nhooph Al-Areebi, a 19-year-old Diva-in-training who comes from a strict Arabic family, risked losing her parents’ support to pursue her dream. Still new to the center, Nhooph desperately awaits her first chance to compete in an NXT ring. Yet, after Head Coach Matt Bloom and Assistant Coach Sara Amato critique her hip-toss technique in training, it becomes clear Nhooph still has a ways to go.
